Apply for MOC's Early Head Start, Head Start and Child Care

Early Head Start

You may qualify for Early Head Start if:

  • Your child is 15 months to 2 years 9 months of age at time of application

  • Your family income falls within the Income Guidelines established by the Federal Government.  You can check here.

  • Special consideration is taken for families who are homeless, foster care, SNAP, SSI and/or TANF

Early Head Start locations:

  • Leominster

  • Gardner​

Head Start

You may qualify for Head Start if:

  • Your child is 3 or 4 years of age on the date of public-school cutoff date

  • Your family income falls within the Income Guidelines established by the Federal Government.  You can check here.

  • Special consideration is taken for families who are homeless, foster care, SNAP, SSI and/or TANF

Head Start locations:

  • Leominster (FEC)

  • Fitchburg (Hosmer)

  • Clinton

  • Gardner MWCC

  • Gardner Mechanic Street

  • Athol

  • Winchendon

When completing the application, please select the program option and complete your request for service.  A staff member will give you a call to complete your application by verifying information, asking additional questions, and requesting proof of age for children and proof of income for anyone in the home.

Child Care

You may qualify for Child Care if:

  • There is DCF Involvement

  • DTA or Childcare Resource Voucher

  • Income Eligible Slots (additional criteria may apply)

  • Child is 0 to 12 years old

Child Care locations:

  • Leominster

  • Fitchburg

  • Gardner MWCC

  • Gardner Mechanic Street

  • Gardner School Age Program

  • Family Child Care (multiple sites available)
