SERVICES

Successful adults start as successful youth. We help build the skills to succeed.

YOUTH INNOVATION CENTER

MOC’s Youth Innovation Center is a space for youth to enjoy technology and resources that develops critical skills to compete in the workforce and feel empowered and prepared to interrupt injustice in their own lives & community. Designed by our ‘Youth Founders’, the YIC is a safe place for youth to work on their passions, while attending a variety of workshops and learning from professional mentors working in the industry.

JOBS4YOUTH

MOC’s Jobs4Youth assists eligible youth ages 14 through 19 in finding and maintaining paid summer employment in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Jobs typically last four to six weeks in July and August. Youth also receive workshops throughout the summer on topics such as workplace ethics, managing workplace stress, and budgeting and spending.

HOMEWORK HELP CENTER

MOC's Homework Centers promote academic achievement of at-risk youth by providing a safe environment where youth have access to homework assistance and the opportunity to participate in organized, educational and recreational activities.

SUMMER CAMP

MOC’s Homework Centers' Summer Programs runs for six weeks and provides educational and recreational activities to youth. Youth work on summer reading assignments and MCAS prep, do hands-on activities with nature and science, learn about important concepts such as nutrition and recycling, and participate in recreational activities like basketball, swimming, and arts and crafts.
